Can I update my listing if anything changes throughout the year?

Absolutely! Simply log in with the username and password you created when you first purchased your listing, find the EDIT MY LISTING on the dropdown nav menu under VENDORS WE HEART, and edit away! You can swap out images, add new text, add links, videos, and more.

What else can I do under EDIT MY LISTING?

You can add special offers. For example, if you want to run a limited time 20% discount on your goods/services, you can add that into your listing, and take it down once the promotional period has ended.

You’ll also be able to add EVENTS. This can be if you’re exhibiting at a show, selling at a pop-up store, etc.

Where does my listing appear?

Your listing will appear in whichever category or categories you select. If, for example, you are a clothing maker primarily, but you also make jewelry, you are able to select BOTH categories. Then, on your submission form, you will select “ATTIRE & ACCESSORIES” as your Main Category. That way your listing will appear in BOTH categories. Prospective customers will also find your listing when they search the Vendor Guide if they enter keywords that you have included with your listing, and can search by location as well.

I see there is a space for a short description and also a space for a longer one. What’s the difference?

The short business description should only be a sentence or two about your business and should include all pertinent keywords for searching purposes. The detailed description appears once a prospective client clicks through your listing to view your full, dedicated page. This can be as long as you’d like, but keep in mind people should very quickly and easily be able to get the gist of your business and what makes the service(s)/good(s) you provide special.

What are the specs for the photos I want to include in my listing?

There’s one main image for your listing that ideally should be 700 pixels wide by 500 high. There’s more flexibility for the gallery images sizing. Just make sure files are no larger than 5 MB, and they must be a jpg, gif, or png.

What if I need more time to gather the content for my listing?

As long as you have created an account, you can save your listing and quit out of it at any time. It will not go live until you’ve finished adding all the content (including photos) and paid for your listing.

I added a listing, and paid for it, but it's not showing. Whats' up?

Your listing first needs to be approved, which should occur within a couple of hours. You will be notified by email when your listing is approved and LIVE!

How do I fill out the LOCATION area of the submission form?

All you have to do is type in your address in the top bar (“Enter Your Address”), click the address that comes up that’s identical or closest to your address, and the rest of the location information should populate automatically. If you don’t click on the address that comes up automatically, you’ll have to manually type in your address in the fields that follow. And ignore the fields that say “latitude” and “longitude.”

I’d love to tell people that I’m in Bridalville’s VENDORS WE HEART Guide – do you guys have any graphics I can use on my site or social media?

As a matter of fact, we do! When your listing is approved, you'll be emailed a link to a badge that you can include on your website and/or social media accounts.

How do I pay you for my listing?

Your one-time annual fee is due when you submit your listing for publication, and you pay via PayPal. You can also use a major credit card through PayPal.

Are there any guarantees?

While we fully guarantee that your listing will run for a full year (365 days) from the date of publication, we cannot guarantee how many views or clicks your listing will receive, nor are we responsible for how the listing performs as a whole.
